She was a pretty unhappy camper when she first started with us at just 6 weeks old. She didn't have the easiest entry into the world and due to that stress, her nervous system was having a hard time doing all the things it needed to do. She was VERY unhappy anytime she was on her back, she wouldn't sleep very long, she would arch her back and scream during feedings, she was gassy, congested and made frequent grunting sounds. All of this, as you can imagine, had her parents very worried and exhausted. They just wanted their little girl to be happy and comfortable.
Fast forward 3 weeks later to the photos below. What you don't know is that 3 times per week for 3 weeks, every time Evelina came in for her adjustments, she was crying and miserable. It would just break your heart. These photos show the second adjustment she had where she was NOT crying!! Not only that, but she also smiled and cooed. YES!!!
This is what Pediatric Chiropractic is all about, folks. Slow, steady, beautiful progress that allows that child to peel back the layers, heal and shine. We absolutely LOVE being a part of that. And the photo below, of mom and dad beaming with love and pride...it just doesn't get any better than that.
