Care Tailored Just for You

Updated: May 4, 2022

At Pine Coast, the “wait and see” approach just isn’t good enough for us! So many of our patients absolutely love having an objective outcome measure to track their progress, because as we know, symptoms don’t always tell the full story!

When you or your kiddo come in for our new patient experience, you will be given a plan tailored to YOU and only you. How exactly can we do that?

1.) Doing what doctors are supposed to do… LISTENING. After years of listening, we know how to look for patterns or clues within each patients case history. These clues provide insight as to what we might expect to see on your scans, and then we can compare that to other similar cases and that gives us a good indicator of how long we expect your plan will be.

2.) SCANS Scans really tie story and symptoms together for us, and then wrap it in a pretty little bow so that we can relay it all back to you in a way that’s easy to understand! Our scan process has 3 parts:

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧- this scan shows us your neurological patterns of stress, tells us how long that stress has been there, and how severe that stress is!

𝐄𝐌𝐆 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧/𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐲𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡- this scan measures the OUTPUT of your neuromuscular system. We can see tone of the overall system, how your system is organizing the tone, and how that tone may be affecting the rest of the system.

𝐇𝐑𝐕 𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲- this measures how well your system is adapting to stress. The two variables we see on this scan are the shift between the sympathetics (gas) and parasympathetics (brakes), and the shift between energy versus exhaustion.
