Women's Health

Women are classically the caretakers and are often juggling ten different things at once.  This becomes even more likely when children are involved.  There just does not seem to be enough hours in the day to get it all done.

This feeling of too much to do and too little time is the perfect recipe for feeling overwhelmed.  Stress can cause anything from headaches, to poor sleep, to decreased immune function, to digestive issues, anxiety and depression.  Those symptoms are just the tip of the iceberg.  Add to that hormonal imbalances that many women struggle with and it is easy to see why so many women feel like they are hanging on by a thread.  How many of you can relate?

The balance between stressors and your ability to cope with them determines your health both physically and mentally.  When your coping abilities and your stressors are in sync, you feel stimulated, engaged and appropriately challenged. When that ratio is out of balance you are more likely to struggle with anxiety and depression.

How many of you are wanting to finally put yourself back on the list but need guidance in where and how to start?  At Pine Coast, your health is our priority.  We work with you as a team to empower you to make these life changes.  When you take better care of yourself, you are better able to take care of others.  You are able to give from a full cup instead of an empty one.  Who benefits when you do that?  Your family does.  Your community does.  The world does.

Your Ability to Cope Determines Your Health
