Child New Patient Appointment (Age 2-12)
Service Description
A new patient appointment is required to establish care in our office or if it has been more than 3 years since your last adjustment. This appointment includes: a complete health history which includes going over the mother's pregnancy and labor and delivery, non-invasive computerized neurological scan(s) to assess areas of stress in the body, a range of motion evaluation (for those old enough), a computerized scan of the feet to assess for instability (for those old enough), a posture evaluation and a palpation examination to determine areas of subluxation (caused by stress which impacts proper nervous system function, putting the body in a state of fight or flight, decreasing adaptability, which over time negatively impacts their health). Dr. Stacey or Dr. Mike will address any concerns and answer any questions you may have. After this appointment, a report of findings (ROF) will be scheduled. At this appointment, Dr. Stacey or Dr. Mike will go over your child's results, explain how this relates to their health, give recommendations for care based on the examination findings and answer any questions you may have. This second visit concludes with your child receiving their first adjustment in our office. If you have insurance, your coverage will be explained to you as well. To schedule this appointment, please call our office at (207) 805-1350. If you will be utilizing your insurance, it is helpful to have that information available when you call.
