John Mason is manager and inspector at Pine Coast Home Inspections L.L.C. 2010 marks his 30 years of experience in the building trades. He spent many of those years working in the greater Portland and Southern Maine area both in residential and commercial construction. His extensive experience as a home builder and remodeling contractor give him the knowledge and insight to accurately evaluate the house you own, or are considering buying.

    John has completed programs in architecture and wooden boat building and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from University of Southern Maine.

    He is a registered and certified home inspector, a graduate of The Home Inspection Institute Inc. of Cincinnati Ohio, a premier provider of inspection training and continuing education. John has successfully completed the home inspectors test and professional code of ethics provided and reviewed by interNACHI, and is a candidate member of the Maine Coalition of Home Inspection Professionals, MeChips. He is 2009 certified by Maine State Housing on current standards for home weatherization and insulation.
